About Tom Dubois
After three years of intense study at the American Academy of Art in Chicago and a year of apprenticeship at a large advertising production house in the heart of downtown Chicago, Tom began his career in 1980.
Trained in the essentials of life drawing, illustration, design and painting, he refined his craft creating illustrations for various clients. Companies like Quaker Oats, Smuckers Jelly, Celestial Seasonings, Betty Crocker, Gatorade, Gillette, McDonalds, Sega Genesis, Gameboy, Nintendo, Enesco, Bradford Exchange Collectibles, and Disney Studios, gave Tom an opportunity to explore and develop a wide range of illustration styles and techniques.
Within a few years of entering the world of fine art limited editions, Tom achieved exceptional success with sold out editions on each release.
Tom's deeply felt religious beliefs inspired many of his fine art paintings, and he is well known for his beautiful religious paintings as well as his Disney classics.
