Victory Pass

|
Although many collectors today know Bill Phillips for his nostalgic landscapes, Bill's first love was historical aviation. Of the dramatic Victory Pass he says, "The aircraft are P-51 Mustangs of the 55th fighter group, 343rd fighter squadron, making a low pass over the German countryside at the end of WWII. The castle in the background is symbolic of fortress Europe, while the green sunlit fields represent the passing storms of war and new beginnings."
